Aroma: Gesalzene Erdnüsse, Krabbenspieße gegrillt, geflammte Meringue und eine blebende Islay Brise.

Geschmack: Geräucherter Mandelkrokant, Pink Grapefruit und süßes Ahornsirup.


Im Nachklang angschmorte Krabben und subtile Notenvon Balsamico schneiden ohne Mühe durch den Rauch.


Ausbau: first fill Kentucky bourbon barrels

Besonderheit: Faßstärke, non chill-filtered, natural colour, limited edition.

Was ist drin? Ein single malt, soviel steht fest. Woher er stammt? Statistisch gesehen wohl von Caol Ila. Aber gereift wurde er in two types of sherry casks, Oloroso sherry hogsehads von Toneleria Juan Pino, Oloroso sherry-seasoned wine casks von Dodegas Hidalgo La Gitana.


"The intense Islay style is enhanced by specially selected Oloroso sherry hogsheads from Tonelería Juan Pino, contributing bold, dried fruit notes to the spirit. Working in tandem, Oloroso sherry-seasoned wine casks from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana complement the lighter notes of the spirit, by lending a more subtle, stone fruit character. Bottled at Cask Strength to preserve the rich, full-bodied mouthfeel and intense, rounded flavours."
